The last year was full of changes in my life; some I could predict, and some were a complete surprise. I always scroll back infinitely to look back nostalgically at different moments, especially those that have already gone by, and I miss them like hell. Taking a sample year from February 2021 to February 2022 and cataloging my pictures into categories showed me more changes than I could remember through the past year.
The whole year view denotes changes in the simple eye, and then zoomed-in panels show specific moments where different pictures come to life. It is an abstract interpretation that is meant to be understood by some.
Changes come in different ways, and I embrace them the best I can. Sometimes they are not easy to grasp, but they always bring something good in the end.
RISOGRAPH PRINTING
Risograph printing is a new technique that touches my soul because of the vibrant colors their inks can produce (digital printing cannot compete with this fluorescent symphony). I have already tried riso printing with two colors. Still, this project was the perfect opportunity to challenge myself and print out nine colors which meant passing each piece of paper through the riso five times. The result paid for the four hours working in front of that printer.
