Work done for a group of "dog-fluencers" on Instagram to celebrate Peruvian Independence Day and highlight the Andean culture. the dogs are wearing different styled "chuyos¨, typical hats of the Andean region. They all contain traditional woven techniques and colors that one would generally find in them.
ILLUSTRATION PROCESS
When starting a project like this, I always base my dog illustration on images utilizing the original picture as a model and then adding different characteristics that would add personality to the drawings. When moving on to the accessories, I look to many images online to then be able to draw it over the character and create an exciting picture.
