Thinking about scale is typically paired with the idea of size or weight, and I wanted to make something unexpected for this project. I decided to create an aesthetic scale where on one end is my personal taste and, on the other end, the complete opposite of my design approach.
DESIGN PROCESS
I thought that the opposite concepts to my design aesthetics that I should work with were: Screen-based since I commonly make material objects, Digital since I thrive on making pieces have a hand-made quality to them, Cluttered culture, trying to show new faces of Perú that I may dislike and of course, I should use black and white since my color palette is commonly very vibrant and colorful.
