During The Pandemic, many small businesses and restaurants struggled to keep their operations running due to pronounced client reduction. Franklin was one of my favorite restaurants in Lima because of their delicious food but also because of their warmth and welcoming of us as a customer, plus our dogs. They reached out to create the launch of the delivery option as a way to keep their business open. They wanted fun, young and approachable branding to attract younger clients and order online.

DESIGN PROCESS

Working with a client requires a close and transparent line of communication to portray what they want their brand to communicate in the design.

This project aimed to create a delivery campaign that enclosed a menu design, logos, promotional campaigns, how-to-order instructions, GIFs, teasers, etc. As we were in the middle of the pandemic and Perú had a very strict lockdown, all communications were virtually through e-mails and social media.

TEASERS

To generate excitement and expectation about what was to come, the client and I worked on teasers to inform the audience that the delivery and to-go options were coming soon.

Franklin is a restaurant named after US President Franklin D. Roosevelt because it is situated looking at a park with the same name. Thus the inspiration for the artwork.
