Working with log-format text requires a keen eye for details and the management of multiple small pieces at the same time. This is a significant takeaway from the project because I learned how to juggle many things at a time using tools that optimize the process of typesetting a book with sections: Captions, footnotes, runners, page numbers, etc.
FUNCTIONAL TYPESETTING
One of the biggest challenges in typesetting a reader was understanding and figuring out how footnotes should work. I found it challenging to look for the footnote at the bottom of the page, so I decided to locate them to the sides, matching where the annotated word or phrase was in the paragraph.
